
Jin Air Launches Ishigaki-Seoul/Incheon Route from April 3
China Eastern Airlines will temporarily reduce the frequency of its Okayama to Shanghai/Pudong service.
Currently, the airline operates five round trips per week on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. From March 30 to June 26, there will be no flights on Fridays and Sundays. Service will return to five round trips per week from June 27. The aircraft used will be either the Airbus A319 or A320.
The route began with two weekly round trips in June 1998. It was suspended from February 2020 due to the pandemic and resumed with two weekly flights in August 2023. The frequency increased to three weekly flights from October of the same year, and to five per week from May 2024. The average seat occupancy rate this year was 66.7%.
