
Hyatt Regency Tokyo Opens ‘Nineteen Eighty Lounge & Bar’ on April 24
R.N.T Hotels opened “THE BASEMENT HOTEL Osaka Honmachi” on April 18.
This is the first store of the new lifestyle hotel brand “THE BASEMENT.” The brand embodies four themes: “comfort,” “uniqueness and charm,” “strong support from below,” and “spirit of adventure and discovery.” The service concept is themed “SHARE.”
The building is 14 stories high, with 119 guest rooms. Floors 2 through 13 are designated guest room floors, offering five types of rooms, including ones with a 160 cm wide single bed or twin beds with a sofa bed, accommodating up to 3 people. The guest rooms are themed “SMALL COMFORTABLE,” featuring separate bath and toilet, independent washstands, 40-inch TVs, and air purifiers with humidifying functions.
On the 14th floor, “THE BASEMENT LOUNGE” offers breakfast, and after 2:00 PM, it becomes a café serving specialty drinks, cakes, and tarts buffet-style. Daily workshops include experiences like crafting original accessories and drink tastings.
Access is about a 2-minute walk from Osaka Metro Honmachi Station and about an 11-minute walk from Awaza Station.
