
Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport Offers Limited Accommodation Plan to Celebrate South Wing Renovation Until July 31
Kyu-Karuizawa KIKYO, Curio Collection by Hilton, will offer the ‘KIKYO Fresh Green Afternoon Tea’ from May 9 to July 10.
The fresh greenery of Karuizawa is expressed through sweets and savory items. The sweets menu includes seven items: “Matcha Croquant” with accents of red bean paste and raspberry, “Basil Ice Cream” using basil, “Matcha Tiramisu,” “Lemon Mousse,” “Hojicha Daifuku” with dough and raw chocolate mixed with roasted green tea, “Pistachio Macaron” with crushed pistachios added to pistachio cream, and “Hydrangea Jelly,” a purple gradient inspired by hydrangea flowers.
The savory menu features three items: “Fresh Green Shinshu Slider Burger” with Shinshu beef patty, smoked cheese and bacon, as well as ume-flavored shiso cream, garnished with mustard greens, cucumber, and microgreens; “Cold Green Pea Potage”; and “Buckwheat Flour Bagna Freda,” a dip with buckwheat crumble mimicking soil, served with vegetables like beets, radishes, young corn, and carrots. Scones include “Yomogi Scone” kneaded with mugwort and served with homemade black honey sauce.
The event is held at the casual dining restaurant “à table” from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The price is 5,500 yen, including tax and service charges.
