
China Eastern Airlines to Move to JFK’s New Terminal One
The JAL Group will offer the traditional Okinawan spirit “IMUGE.” for a limited time from November 1 in the Diamond Premier Lounge and Sakura Lounge for domestic flights at Naha Airport in Okinawa, Japan.
“IMUGE.” is a liquor made from grains such as millet, sweet potatoes, and brown sugar, enjoyed since the Ryukyu Kingdom era, and it was revived after about a century by three distilleries. While typical imo shochu is produced with a secondary mash, IMUGE. employs a third-stage fermentation by adding brown sugar afterward.
Offerings include Seifuku Shuzo’s “Seifuku IMUGE. 25% ABV,” “Seifuku IMUGE. 37% ABV,” and “Seifuku IMUGE. Cask 35% ABV”; Taragawa’s “Taragawa IMUGE. White Label 25% ABV” and “Taragawa IMUGE. Black Label 37% ABV”; Kumejima no Kumesen’s “Kumejima no Kumesen IMUGE. 25% ABV”; Higa Shuzo’s “ZANPA IMUGE.”; and Nakijin Shuzo’s “Nakijin IMUGE. 25% ABV.” Some items can also be purchased at JAL PLAZA in front of Security Checkpoint A.
