Hunnu Air will operate charter flights on the Matsumoto–Ulaanbaatar–Dalanzadgad route.
The flights will operate on July 18 and 22, using Embraer E190 aircraft. Departures from Matsumoto will include a refueling stop en route.
Dalanzadgad is the gateway to the Gobi Desert in southern Mongolia. This will be the first time international charter flights to Dalanzadgad are operated from a Japanese airport as part of travel packages that use charter services to this destination.
The travel packages are sold by Alpico Nagano Travel. The “Vast Land of the South Gobi Connected by Charter Flight – 5 Days” tour is priced from 398,000 yen per person, based on double occupancy. Tours originating in Mongolia are currently being coordinated.
