Ascott to Open Oakwood Oimachi Tracks Tokyo on June 25
Haimurubushi, a resort in Okinawa, Japan, will open a new room category, the “Oceanfront Pool Villa,” on July 15.
The eight villas come in two types, Twin and King. Each offers a private space of over 120 square meters. The interior features natural materials, and the layout is designed so that guests can enjoy the view from anywhere in the room. Through the approximately 10-meter-wide windows, guests can enjoy a direct view of Iriomote Island. Each villa’s terrace is equipped with a pool that has cooling and heating functions to maintain the optimal water temperature according to the season. Two adjacent villas can be connected via an interior door and used as a connecting room. In addition to in-room check-in and check-out, complimentary in-room minibar, and a floating breakfast that can be enjoyed in the private pool, the resort also offers access plans by scenic helicopter from Ishigaki Airport and by private cruise from Ishigaki Port. Within the resort, new facilities such as a kids’ space, fitness gym, and viewing spots have also been added.
To commemorate the opening, a special accommodation plan for stays of two nights or more is on sale from July 15 for stays checking out through January 16, 2027. The plan includes a bottle of champagne, 20,000 yen worth of resort credit, late check-out until 4:00 p.m., and breakfast.
