
Tokyo Metro Unveils London-Style Station Sign at Ueno Station to Mark 100 Years of the Subway
JR East Cross Station will temporarily suspend barcode payment services at NewDays convenience stores in Japan.
This is due to system maintenance. From around 10:30 p.m. on May 25 until around 8:00 a.m. on May 26, all barcode payment methods will be unavailable. The company plans to resume barcode payment services sequentially as soon as the maintenance has been completed, and notes that the end time may vary depending on the progress of the work.
The affected payment methods are PayPay, Rakuten Pay, d Barai, au PAY, J-Coin Pay, ALIPAY, and WeChatPay. Other payment methods, such as cash, e-money, and credit cards, can be used as usual.
