
Hoshino Resorts to Open “KAI Zao” Hot Spring Ryokan on October 15
Hilton Yokohama is offering its afternoon tea set “Harmony of Melon and Early Summer Fruits” from May 7 through June 30.
Every sweet item features melon, with a lineup that combines melon-flavored custard cream and fresh cream. The top tier of the tea stand includes melon shortcake, melon savarin, melon éclair, and melon mousse, while the lower tier features melon danish, melon scone, melon cake, and more.
The savory items are supervised by the chef of the specialty restaurant “Ocean Milano” and include marinated seafood and avocado in tomato consommé jelly, new potato and new burdock vichyssoise with roast beef salad, homemade mini corn dogs, and a tandoori chicken and couscous salad. Tea selections include varieties from the premium tea brand “HARNEY & SONS,” such as “Heirloom Bartlett Pear,” inspired by the flavor of ripe pears.
The location is the bar & lounge “Melody” on the lobby floor. On weekdays, seatings start at 1:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. with a two-hour limit; on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays, seatings start at 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., also with a two-hour limit. The price is 7,000 yen (including tax and service charge).
