Tokyo Metro Unveils London-Style Station Sign at Ueno Station to Mark 100 Years of the Subway
JR Kyushu will revise its “Kocchi Demo Ikeru yo! Yufuin Ticket” from July 1.
This discounted ticket combines limited express trains such as the “Sonic” between Hakata and Oita Stations with local trains between Oita and Yufuin Stations. After the revision, it will support QR ticketless travel. By choosing QR ticket boarding at the time of reservation, passengers can board without ticket issuance, and reserved seats can be secured without the need to collect a ticket. In addition, a new option for Green Car reserved seats will be introduced.
The ticket will be on sale from June 1 through March 31, 2027. Fares are 4,300 yen for adults and 2,150 yen for children in standard cars, and 7,000 yen for adults and 4,850 yen for children for Green Car reserved seats. Standard car fares are the same for both reserved and non-reserved seats. Tickets currently on sale for travel through June 30 cannot be changed to travel dates on or after July 1.
