Tokyu Resorts & Stay has implemented a system using room keys at the ‘Tangram Smart Store (24H Cashierless Convenience Store)’ in Hotel Tangram, starting from August 2nd.
The Tangram Smart Store utilizes an unmanned payment system provided by LMCU, operating as a completely self-service, cashierless store. While the service was previously available via LINE, the new system enables customers to enter the store and complete transactions solely with their room key. Charges are consolidated and settled at check-out along with accommodation fees. The store is located on the second floor of the entrance building and operates 24 hours a day, excluding closed days.
