JAL Launches Special Livery Aircraft ‘JAL Fantastic Journey Express’ in Late October

Japan Airlines (JAL) and Oriental Land are introducing a special livery aircraft, the “JAL Fantastic Journey Express” (Boeing 767-300ER, registration number: JA622J), themed after Tokyo DisneySea’s Fantasy Springs, on domestic routes from late October.

The aircraft’s exterior features iconic locations from various areas like Arendelle Castle, Rapunzel’s Tower, and Captain Hook’s Jolly Roger, set against the backdrop of Disney fantasy worlds guided by the magical spring, including characters like Anna, Elsa, Rapunzel, and Peter Pan.

The aircraft also features special designs on items such as headrest covers and paper cups. In-flight melodies played during boarding and disembarking have been changed to “You Can Fly!” and “Journey to Fantasy Springs,” and three different boarding certificate stickers are available.

This special livery aircraft is a collaboration between Tokyo Disney Resort and its official sponsor JAL, marking the sixth occasion of such an initiative. It is scheduled to operate until November 2025.
