Emirates Airline Receives its First Airbus A350-900 Aircraft
Emirates Airline has taken delivery of its first Airbus A350-900 aircraft (registration number: A6-EXA) in Toulouse, France.
The aircraft was handed over this morning, local time on November 25th, and a ferry flight from Toulouse to Dubai is scheduled to depart at 4 PM today. Final touches will be made by Emirates Engineering in Dubai, and it will be officially unveiled at a special event later this week.
The aircraft is set to begin commercial operations on the Dubai to Edinburgh route starting January 2025, and is expected to be deployed on eight routes across the Middle East, West Asia, and Europe subsequently.
The plan is to introduce 65 Airbus A350 aircraft, marking the addition of a new model for the first time since 2008.
