Hotel InterContinental Tokyo Bay will be offering the ‘LOVE Strawberry & Chocolate Afternoon Tea’ from January 9th to March 3rd, 2025, for those who relish the combination of strawberries and chocolate.
The afternoon tea features a variety of sweets that mix seasonal strawberries with bitter chocolate, including scones and savories. The special dish is a tiramisu layered with strawberries, mascarpone cream made from strawberries, and feuilletine. The petit gateaux selection includes five types such as a raspberry and chocolate verrine, tart with layered strawberry mousse, strawberry guimauve, a chocolate eclair using whole strawberries, and fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate. Two types of scones, plain and chocolate, are served with clotted cream, strawberry jam, and blueberry jam. Savories feature a red theme, including chicken pâté en croute with sauerkraut of red cabbage, chickpeas and beet hummus, and a cauliflower verrine decorated with strawberries.
Depending on the outlet, options include plans with grilled aged beef steak, mini hamburgers with homemade buns, truffle French fries with soup, or special mocktails inspired by strawberries and chocolate. Additionally, lunch & dinner courses including afternoon tea-style desserts, and takeout afternoon tea are available.
