Tokyu Resorts & Stay announced the reopening of Tokyu Stay Ikebukuro on December 26th.
The concept of the guest room renovations is “Theater Dining,” with all rooms equipped with a microwave, a refrigerator with a freezer, and a drum-type washer dryer. The desks have been replaced with dining tables to create a more comfortable dining experience in the room, complete with dishware.
The new breakfast service, “Stay Morning+ (Plus),” has been introduced. It offers two types of sets: an “Easy Set” that only requires microwaving, and a “Bowl Set” that allows guests to enjoy freshly cooked rice in their room. A wide range of healthy options, including frozen soup and Japanese side dishes from GREEN SPOON, are available.
In the lobby, in cooperation with Nippon Distribution Group’s Hiraku Project, a “Travel Library” has been set up. It features about 100 books covering Japanese culture and Ikebukuro among four categories. To celebrate the opening, events featuring “Book Director” and “Local Guide Gacha” as keywords are planned for the future.
