JR East Releases ‘Kyun Pass’: Unlimited Rides for ¥10,000 on Weekdays Including Shinkansen, Plus New Two-Day Option
JR West Japan ended the entry reception for the Osaka-Departure Ee-Toko Discovery Ticket early, at 11:30 PM on February 21.
Initially, the entry period was scheduled from January 28 to February 28, but due to a response that greatly exceeded expectations, it became likely that continuing entries would make it difficult to reserve desired trains, leading to the early closure.
The “Osaka-Departure Ee-Toko Discovery Ticket” offers recommended tourist spots based on compatibility derived from the birthdates of two people using a numerology-based fortune-telling method called “Number Trip Diagnosis.” All destinations depart from Osaka and include Kojima (Okayama), Banshu-Ako (Himeji), Yuasa (Wakayama), Higashi-Maizuru (Nishi-Maizuru), and Tsuruga, with stopovers possible at the stations inside the parentheses.
The sales period runs from January 28 to March 8, and the use is for two consecutive days between January 31 and March 9. The price is 6,000 yen for two adults, including the entry fee (2,000 yen) and round-trip fare and charges to the destination.
