AIRDO (Air Do) has canceled some flights and made aircraft changes due to maintenance inspections and repair work.
This follows partial damage to its Boeing 767-300 (registration: JA613A) caused by a lightning strike near New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido, Japan.
As of 10:30 a.m. on November 11 (JST), cancellations have been decided for three round trips (six flights) on the Tokyo/Haneda–Sapporo/New Chitose route (HD15/23/31/16/26/36) on November 11 and 12. Passengers are advised to check the website for the latest operational status.
