Solaseed Air to Debut ‘Go! forward Kumamoto’ Jet in Mid-April 2026

Solaseed Air will put its “Go! forward Kumamoto” special-livery jet (Boeing 737-800, registration JA807X) into service from mid-April 2026 in Japan.

Marking 10 years since the Kumamoto Earthquake, the project supports the restoration of Kumamoto Castle and regional revitalization, under the theme “Keep moving forward—and go to Kumamoto!”

Kumamoto City, Kikuchi City, Takamori Town, Mifune Town, Minamiaso Village, and Yamaga City have endorsed and joined the initiative. The livery depicts regional symbols such as Kumamoto Castle, the Kikuchi Hakuryu Festival, Mount Nekodake, dinosaurs, the Minamiaso Railway trolley train, and Yamaga lanterns, together with the slogan “Go! forward Kumamoto.” Design supervision and production were handled by Colors Planning. The operation period is planned to be about two years.

Solaseed Air will also implement recovery-support initiatives using platforms such as its in-flight magazine “Soratane” and its mileage program “Solaseed Smile Club.”
