JAL Reduces Fuel Surcharge for Issuances from June Onwards, Round-trip to Europe/US at 58,000 Yen
All Nippon Airways (ANA) will implement special measures for all flights scheduled to arrive and depart from Tokyo/Haneda on the 3rd, providing rebooking and refund services free of charge.
This comes as a response to the closure of the runway on the 2nd caused by the collision and ensuing fire of Japan Airlines (JAL) flight 516 from Sapporo/Chitose to Tokyo/Haneda and a Japan Coast Guard aircraft. All of ANA’s Haneda flights were canceled subsequent to the accident on the 2nd. Although adjustments are being made to operate as many flights as possible on the 3rd, passengers must check the latest operational status as there may be delays or cancellations right before departure.
Due to the earthquake that occurred in the Noto region on the 1st, flights arriving and departing from Shonai, Niigata, Toyama, and Komatsu will be handled with fee-free rebooking and refunds until the 5th, and flights to and from Noto will receive the same treatment for all flights until the 31st.
