
ANA Implements Special Handling for Flights Affected by Severe Winter Weather
All Nippon Airways (ANA) will implement special handling of airline tickets, as severe weather is expected due to a strong winter pressure pattern over Japan.
As of midnight on January 11, special handling applies to flights to and from Wakkanai, Aomori, Odate-Noshiro, Akita, Shonai, Niigata, Noto, Toyama, and Komatsu from January 11 to 12; Tottori from January 11 to the morning of January 12; and Okhotsk Monbetsu, Memanbetsu, Kushiro, Nemuro Nakashibetsu, Hakodate, Yonago, Hagi-Iwami, Nagoya/Chubu, Tsushima, and Goto-Fukue on January 11, as well as Fukuoka on the morning of January 11.
For tickets on the affected flights, changes, rebooking, and refunds will be accepted free of charge, regardless of whether a delay or cancellation occurs.
On January 11, due to strong winds, snow, and poor visibility, there is a possibility of delays, cancellations, diversions to other airports, or returns to the departure airport for flights to and from Wakkanai, Memanbetsu, Kushiro, Nemuro Nakashibetsu, Hakodate, Okhotsk Monbetsu, Aomori, Odate-Noshiro, Akita, Noto, Toyama, Shonai, Niigata, Komatsu, Hachijojima, Shizuoka, Nagoya/Chubu, Yonago, Hagi-Iwami, Takamatsu, Tottori, Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Tsushima, and Goto-Fukue.
