Emirates Airline will construct a crew village in Dubai Investments Park, which will include housing for cabin crew.
The airline will invest several billion UAE dirhams to build accommodation that can house up to 12,000 people. The buildings will be 19 stories high and will consist of 20 blocks. Units will be a mix of one- to three-bedroom apartments.
In addition, the village will feature a multipurpose hub with retail shops, restaurants, fitness facilities, a medical clinic, public spaces and parks, as well as resort-style swimming pools, promenades, and green areas.
Construction is scheduled to begin as early as the second quarter of this year, with the first phase expected to be completed in 2029. The development will be carried out under a long-term lease agreement. Emirates says it will support the airline’s plans to relocate to the new airport and its continued long-term growth.
