Japan Transocean Air (JTA) has begun selling the seasonal limited special brew ‘Ichiban Sakura’ from Orion Beer onboard its flights.
This limited-edition beer uses ‘Kanhizakura petals’ sourced from Okinawa Prefecture, offering a luxurious taste with a full-bodied flavor unique to this time of year. It is available on ten routes that connect Honshu with Ishigaki and Miyako Islands, as well as Nagoya/Chubu, Osaka/Kansai, Komatsu, Okayama to Okinawa/Naha.
The beer is on sale from January 1 and will be available until stocks run out. A 350 milliliter can is priced at 500 yen (including tax), and comes with a snack.
