Starlux Airlines is set to commence flights to Taichung on March 31st.
The airline will open three new routes connecting Macau, Da Nang, and Takamatsu. There will be eight round trips per week to Macau, and the airline plans to operate both regular and charter flights to Da Nang, as well as charter flights to Takamatsu. The flights will utilize the Airbus A321neo, equipped with 8 business class seats and 180 economy class seats, for a total of 188 seats.
Starlux Airlines’ total revenue for 2023 was NT$22.47 billion, which represents a 568% increase compared to the previous year. In December, both passenger and cargo revenues saw significant growth, with passenger revenue rising 155% compared to the same month last year, reaching NT$2.1 billion, and cargo revenue increasing by 69% to NT$185 million.
