Japan Airlines (JAL) Group has added extra flights due to the impact of the Kumamoto earthquakes and the suspension of Kyushu Shinkansen services.
A total of 15 flights will be operated on the Fukuoka–Kagoshima route and one flight on the Tokyo/Haneda–Kumamoto route between July 30 and 31.
A Boeing 767-300ER aircraft will be used on the Tokyo/Haneda–Kumamoto route. Boeing 737-800, ATR42-600, and Embraer E170 aircraft will be used on the Fukuoka–Kagoshima route.
