Starlux Airlines will launch a new route between Nagoya/Chubu and Taichung on October 25.
Initially, the route will operate four round trips per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. From November 1 to 30, it will operate one round trip per day, and from December 1 onward, it will operate three round trips per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The airline will use Airbus A321neo aircraft configured with a total of 188 seats: 8 in business class and 180 in economy class. Flight time will be between 3 hours 20 minutes and 3 hours 40 minutes from Nagoya/Chubu, and between 2 hours 35 minutes and 2 hours 40 minutes from Taichung.
Taichung is also an ideal gateway to nature-rich tourist destinations including Sun Moon Lake, Alishan, and the Gaomei Wetlands. The airline currently operates one daily round trip between Nagoya/Chubu and Taipei/Taoyuan, making multi-city itineraries combining the Taichung route possible.
