Etihad Airways will launch its Abu Dhabi–Gothenburg route on December 17.
The airline will operate four round trips per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Airbus A321LR aircraft will be used, configured with a total of 160 seats: two First Suites, 14 Business Class seats, and 144 Economy Class seats. Flight time will be 7 hours and 35 minutes from Abu Dhabi and 6 hours and 45 minutes from Gothenburg. The seasonal service will operate through March 21, 2027.
This will be the first nonstop route linking Gothenburg with the Middle East, offering convenient connections to destinations across Asia. Through the Abu Dhabi Stopover Program, passengers can also stay in Abu Dhabi for up to two nights.
