Batik Air Malaysia will operate charter flights on the Sendai–Tokyo/Narita–Kota Kinabalu route.
Flights will depart from Sendai and Tokyo/Narita on December 30, with the return flight departing Kota Kinabalu on January 3, 2027. While the journey normally takes more than around 12 hours, the charter flight will take approximately six and a half hours.
JTB is selling tour packages. Prices start from 298,000 yen for departures from Tokyo/Narita and 313,000 yen for departures from Sendai.
