Hilton Tokyo Odaiba will offer its “Shine Muscat Afternoon Tea” from September 15 through November 30.
The sweets selection includes Shine Muscat shortcake, champagne jelly, mousse, a Shine Muscat and grape tart, grape verrine, grape tea-flavored mille-feuille, raisin sandwich cookies, and red wine jelly with grapes. The shortcake will feature Kyoho grapes through October 31, and chestnuts from November 1. The autumn-inspired savory items include a gratin burger, trout and mushroom foil-baked with yuzu miso, and a mini sweet potato quiche. Two types of scones—plain and raisin cheese—will be served, along with four types of sandwiches: baguette sandwiches, sweet potato-style sandwiches, bread kneaded with chestnut paste and topped with chestnut cream and raisins, and panini. Scones and sandwiches are available as unlimited refills via table service.
The venue is Captain’s Bar & Lounge. Service is offered in four seatings from noon to 5 p.m. Prices start from 7,800 yen, including tax and service charge. If children do not order the afternoon tea, elementary school children can enjoy unlimited scones, sandwiches, and soft drinks for 2,000 yen, while children aged 4 to 6 can do so for 1,500 yen.
