Hilton Tokyo Offers Meat-Centric Afternoon Tea “Classic American Diner”
Hilton has launched “Pay with Points,” a new benefit under its Hilton Honors loyalty program that allows members to apply points toward charges incurred during their stay.
The benefit is available to Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Diamond Reserve members. When completing digital checkout through the Hilton Honors app, members can review their itemized bill, select from available redemption options, and apply points to eligible charges. No procedure at the front desk is required. Hilton is the first major hotel brand to offer this service entirely through digital checkout.
Brad Anderson, Vice President of Hilton Honors, commented, “Members have told us they want more flexibility in how they use their points.” He added, “Pay with Points will be a new tool that reduces friction in travel and gives members the choices and control they value.”
The service is currently available at 150 properties in the United States and is scheduled to expand to more than 800 properties by the end of 2026. In early 2027, it will be fully rolled out to more than 6,000 eligible properties in the United States and Canada. Availability and redemption options vary by property.
Hilton has also continued to invest in digital tools, including digital check-in, Digital Key, and room selection.
