Eve Air Mobility, in collaboration with Jeju Air, has announced a concept aimed at realizing the future operation of electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft in Urban Air Mobility (UAM) business on Jeju Island, South Korea.
The two companies conducted a detailed analysis of the needs, opportunities, and challenges for safely establishing eVTOL operations on Jeju Island in the future. Jeju Air, leveraging its business know-how and experience in aviation operations, expressed a desire to support the development of a safe flight environment.
Eve Air Mobility, a subsidiary of Embraer dedicated to eVTOL development, has previously unveiled business concepts in cooperation with authorities in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Brazil.
