Fiji Airways and JetBlue Airways have entered into an interline agreement.
Customers can now purchase flights from both airlines on a single ticket, which enables smoother check-in and baggage transfer services.
This agreement provides easier access for travelers from the U.S. East Coast, Utah, and Florida, where JetBlue Airways has an extensive network. Travelers from the U.S. can now easily access Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and other destinations via Fiji.
André Viljoen, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Fiji Airways, remarked, “Americans who have longed for a vacation in Fiji will find it much easier to connect to our flights from Los Angeles and San Francisco. Research indicates that many Americans mistakenly believe Fiji is too far and difficult to reach. Through this partnership, Fiji Airways has made access to Fiji’s paradise even more convenient. We are constantly seeking innovative ways to expand our presence in America, and we are delighted to have JetBlue come onboard as our interline partner.”
Fiji Airways operates one round trip daily between Nadi and Los Angeles, and five round trips weekly between Nadi and San Francisco, providing services into the mainland U.S.
