Vietnam Airlines and Shimane Prefecture have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at realizing the operation of international scheduled flights.
The announcement was made in the presence of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh during the Vietnam-Japan Economic Forum on December 16th.
This agreement aims for the realization of future international flights and the expansion of various travel needs such as tourism, business, and for the Vietnamese community living in Japan. Efforts will be made to increase the recognition of Vietnamese destinations within Shimane Prefecture and to expand mutual travel demand.
In November, Vietnam Airlines also signed a cooperation agreement with Kagoshima Prefecture and H.I.S. (HIS).
