Japan Airlines (JAL) has suspended all standby services for JAL Group domestic flights at Haneda Airport through March 8.
The standby services for all routes at Haneda Airport had been suspended since March 3. This also applies to passengers who have completed standby applications via the website or app, rendering them invalid.
The ongoing congestion is a result of a runway closure that occurred on the evening of March 2, following a collision and subsequent fire involving a JAL aircraft and a Japan Coast Guard plane.
