Kumamoto Electric Railway to Implement Major Service Reductions from February 3 Due to a Shortage of Train Drivers
JR East and JR Hokkaido will operate additional trains on the Hokkaido-Tohoku Shinkansen from today, January 5, to January 8, due to the reduction in flights caused by the fire at Haneda Airport.
The ‘Hayate 544’ service from Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station to Tokyo Station will be in operation. It will depart Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station at 6:14 p.m. and arrive at Tokyo Station at 10:40 p.m. The train will stop at Shin-Aomori, Morioka, Sendai, Omiya, and Ueno stations along the way. All ordinary cars will operate as unreserved seating.
