AIRDO has discontinued standby seating for flights departing from New Chitose Airport as of today, January 5th.
This is due to the closure of a runway at Haneda Airport. While no flights have been canceled at this stage, there are delays due to air traffic control instructions. The airline has indicated that there could be sudden delays or cancellations due to these air traffic control directions and aircraft adjustments.
Furthermore, the company is implementing special handling of air tickets for all routes and flights, accommodating changes and refunds without any fees.
