Jetstar Japan experienced a system failure leading to the cancellation of 18 flights.
The failure began around 3:50 PM on January 12 and continued until approximately 7:30 PM, during which time all domestic flights were temporarily unable to depart. The system was restored around 7:30 PM.
The airline is implementing full refunds for those who used alternative flights, returned tickets, or used other companies’ flights or ground public transportation services, as long as the usage was booked in advance.
