Starlux Airlines is set to launch charter flights on the Takamatsu-Taichung route starting March 31st.
The flights, scheduled for Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, will be operated by an Airbus A321neo outfitted with 8 business class and 180 economy class seats, totaling 188 seats.
This will be the only direct flight connecting Japan and Taichung, with sales of travel packages starting from February 21st through local travel agencies in Taichung. Sales in Japan will not be conducted.
In addition to this, Starlux Airlines will also launch regular flights on the Taichung-Macau route on March 31st, and on the Taichung-Da Nang route on April 2nd, initiating operations in Taichung as their second hub following Taipei/Taoyuan.
