Keio Plaza Hotel Hachioji has started offering the ‘KEIO Train Room’ from August 1.
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the hotel’s opening, they have prepared a room with a Keio Line train simulator permanently installed, available in only one room. The simulator is equipped with three levels and allows guests to experience several types of Keio Line trains running downhill from Shinjuku Station to Mt. Takao Station. A scoring feature has been introduced to enhance the game-like experience. In the room, there are decorations of photo panels depicting the Keio Line and Keio Liner trains running through landscapes of the four seasons, and special exhibits such as Keio Line tickets and lever handles that convey the history of the Keio Line. Guests will also receive a Keio die-cast model ‘Keio Liner new 5000 series’ as a gift. Costume uniforms for children and hats for adults are available for rental.
