Kansai International Airport to Host Event for 30th Anniversary on September 4
Kansai Airports announces a commemorative event on September 4th to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Kansai International Airport’s opening.
A joint farewell event by ground staff from five domestic airlines and Kansai Airports staff will take place at the parking spots. The flights involved are JAL2051 at 9:10 AM, ANA1735 at 10:10 AM, MM205 at 11:15 AM, GK226 at 1:15 PM, and MQ24 at 2:15 PM.
Furthermore, from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Kansai Airport’s official mascot “Sorayan” 30th anniversary stickers will be distributed at the first floor international and domestic arrivals area and the second floor domestic departures area of Terminal 1, as well as the domestic departures and arrivals area of Terminal 2. Distribution will end as soon as all stickers are given out.
