Grand Hyatt Tokyo will be offering a special oversized gourmet burger, the “Giant Harvest Pumpkin Burger,” from October 1 to November 29.
This burger, with a diameter of about 25 centimeters and weighing approximately 3 kilograms, features a homemade pumpkin bun mixed with pumpkin paste, enclosing a 1.5 kilogram 100% beef patty cooked on a charcoal grill and in a broiler oven that reaches up to 900 degrees Celsius. It is layered with mozzarella and Comté cheeses, prosciutto ham, fried onions, and more, complemented by two types of sauces: an original sauce inspired by the Middle Eastern spice mix “Dukkah,” made with nuts and spices, and a sundried tomato sauce.
The location for this culinary festivity is the steakhouse “Oak Door.” Available from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The price is ¥26,400 (tax included, service charge extra). Available only on weekdays, a reservation is required 5 days in advance.
