Hotel InterContinental Tokyo Bay is offering the ‘White Festive Afternoon Tea,’ inspired by the accumulating snow, from November 1 to January 5, 2025.
The sweets include a Paris-Brest named ‘White Christmas Wreath,’ which sandwiches strawberry jam, custard cream, and chantilly in a choux pastry topped with silver dragées; a rolled cake decorated with white chocolate shaped like pine tree leaves; a verrine depicting a snow globe with panna cotta and lemon jelly; a Mont Blanc inspired by a snow-covered Christmas tree made with cream cheese; and five kinds of scones. At the ‘New York Lounge,’ guests can also enjoy teddy bear cookies and bonbons on sticks adorned with white chocolate snowflakes and flakes. The savory items include ‘Mushroom Royale with Truffle Aroma,’ ‘Ratatouille Quiche with Onion Espuma,’ ‘Brandade Canapé,’ and more.
Additionally, the ‘New York Lounge’ offers a limited number of plans that come with a ‘Hermann Teddy’ bear, while the ‘N.Y. Lounge Boutique’ sells a take-out afternoon tea that packages a portion of the items.
The afternoon tea is available at five locations including the first floor’ New York Lounge’ and the ‘Hudson Lounge,’ as well as through in-room dining. Prices start at 6,050 yen. The content of the afternoon tea varies slightly by location.
