Fauchon Hotel Kyoto Offers ‘Amaou’ Dessert Buffet and Afternoon Tea

Fauchon Hotel Kyoto, in collaboration with Fukuoka Prefecture, will offer an ‘Amaou strawberry dessert buffet’ and ‘Amaou afternoon tea set’ from January 8 to March 16, 2025, under the theme ‘Fauchon Hotel Kyoto Meets Amaou’.

At the restaurant ‘Le Grand Café Fauchon’, a dessert buffet featuring Amaou strawberries will be held during lunchtime. Guests can enjoy strawberry desserts such as roll cakes, tarts, and eclairs, taste strawberries as they are, and also have fun topping their own desserts at a corner set up for assembling mille-feuilles and babas. An optional mini Amaou parfait can also be added. The buffet is available from 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with an additional charge of 3,000 yen to any lunch menu, or 6,200 yen for the dessert buffet alone (90-minute limit), half-price for elementary school children, and free for preschool children. Prices include tax and service charges.

‘Salon de Thé Fauchon’ offers an afternoon tea set featuring Fukuoka strawberries called ‘Amaou Afternoon Tea’. The menu includes ‘Chef’s Recommended Macaron’, ‘Amaou Earl Grey Tart’, ‘Amaou and Champagne Fresh Bonbons’, ‘Carrot Cake Sale and Raw Ham Strawberries’, ‘Scallop and Amaou Marinade’, and two types of scones among others. Drinks include the ‘Grand Tea Master’s Special Welcome Tea – Amaou Ver.’ and free-flow beverages. The tea is served in two-hour slots from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, starting from 7,000 yen. Prices include tax and service charges.
