Qatar Airways will resume its flights on the Doha-Damascus route from January 7.
The service will operate three round trips a week on Monday, Friday, and Saturday. The flight duration is 2 hours and 55 minutes from Doha, and 2 hours and 35 minutes from Damascus.
Damascus is the capital of Syria. Following the collapse of the Syrian regime, many airlines stopped their services to Syria.
Badr Mohammed Al Meer, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), commented, “We are pleased to resume flights to Damascus, a destination of significant historical and cultural importance. This announcement highlights our commitment to enhancing connectivity and facilitating travel for our passengers.”
