H.I.S (HIS) has applied for and received approval from the Kanto Finance Bureau to extend the deadline for submitting their securities report for the fiscal year ending October 2024.
The application was made due to ongoing investigations by a special committee into fraudulent receipt of employment adjustment subsidies, which is expected to require considerable time to complete investigations, finalize accounts, and conduct audits. The original submission deadline was January 31, and the new deadline is March 31.
HIS has announced that they will return approximately 6.25 billion yen, and its subsidiary, Number One Travel, will return approximately 130 million yen, for fraudulently received employment adjustment subsidies.
