Emirates has begun deploying the Airbus A350-900 aircraft for its Dubai to Mumbai and Ahmedabad routes starting January 26.
Both routes are operated with one round trip per day, strengthening its engagement in India and the surrounding region.
The Airbus A350-900 is configured with 312 seats in total: 32 in Business Class with a 1-2-1 layout, 21 in Premium Economy Class with a 2-3-2 layout, and 259 in Economy Class with a 3-3-3 layout.
This expansion brings the total to five cities, including Edinburgh, Kuwait, and Bahrain, with plans to further serve eight cities including Colombo, Lyon, Muscat, and Bologna.
Emirates operates weekly 167 round trips across nine cities in India, utilizing the Airbus A380 for services to Mumbai and Bangalore.
