VietJet Air launched the Nagoya/Chubu-Ho Chi Minh route on April 24.
The airline operates four round trips per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays using Airbus A321 aircraft. The travel time is 5 hours and 35 minutes from Nagoya/Chubu and 5 hours and 30 minutes from Ho Chi Minh.
Flight VJ856 from Ho Chi Minh received a water salute upon arrival in Nagoya/Chubu, and passengers were given commemorative gifts.
With this launch, VietJet Air now operates 10 routes to Japan, with a maximum of 138 flights per week.
