Hotel Metropolitan in Japan has revamped its “Suica Penguin Cake” and “Suica Penguin Pudding,” both themed after JR East’s Suica IC card mascot.
The “Suica Penguin Cake (Chocolat Orangette)” combines chocolate mousse with orange, layered on hazelnut financier sponge and a chocolate cookie base. The “Suica Penguin Pudding” features café latte-flavored custard pudding topped with an espresso jelly layer.
Both items are limited to 30 servings per day. The price is 780 yen for the cake and 500 yen for the pudding, tax included. The sales period runs from April 1 to August 31. They are available at the Cake & Bakery Shop on the 1st floor of Hotel Metropolitan, open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (ⓒC.S/JR East/D)
