Etihad Airways to Offer Free Medical Travel Insurance for Abu Dhabi Visitors
The AirAsia Group will gradually restore its flight operations and aims to fully recover its operational scale by August.
The airline has announced new services to destinations such as Busan, Bahrain, London, and Batam Island, although the launch date of the Kuala Lumpur–Bahrain–London/Gatwick route has been postponed. The carrier says it will prioritize expanding routes that support a sustainable business scale and profitable long-term growth.
With fuel prices declining, AirAsia also plans to gradually reduce fares. Group CEO Bo Lingam stated that, in cooperation with governments and other stakeholders, the company will seek to halt increases in airport charges, various taxes, and other fees over the next one to two years.
The airline will continue retiring older aircraft, accelerating the introduction of Airbus A321LR aircraft, and expects the Airbus A220 to contribute to improved fuel efficiency and lower operating costs.
