Motto by Hilton Kyoto Shijo Karasuma to Open in 2029
Keio Presso Inn will cease operations at Keio Presso Inn Kanda on September 13.
The hotel opened in June 2003 as the second property in the Keio Group’s business hotel operation. It has 270 guest rooms and is located approximately a five-minute walk from the West Exit of JR Kanda Station in Tokyo.
In light of the aging facility and future redevelopment of the surrounding area, the building will be reconstructed. The rebuilt property is expected to remain a hotel, but under a new, design-focused brand with a concept distinct from the Keio Presso Inn brand, targeting international visitors to Japan and younger travelers.
To coincide with the closure, a breakfast fair will be held from September 1. Guests will be offered a rotating daily selection of “dashi chazuke,” an enhanced version of the ochazuke rice dish previously served for breakfast, as well as simmered dishes that are being considered for future introduction at other properties.
