Choice Hotels Japan reopened Comfort Hotel ERA Ishigaki Island under a new brand on June 26.
The five-story building has 81 guest rooms. The hotel features the Comfort Library Cafe, which offers 300 books selected around the themes of Ishigaki Island’s culture, nature, and daily life, along with local crafts. It also offers “Sweets Time,” serving locally inspired sweets at designated times, and “Cocktail Time,” featuring alcoholic beverages from Okinawa.
Breakfast is served buffet-style and includes Spam curry, goya bitter melon curry, goya chanpuru, taco rice, sata andagi, and other Okinawan specialties.
