Air France Suspends Tokyo/Narita to Paris/Charles de Gaulle Route
Air France has decided to suspend flights on the Tokyo/Narita to Paris/Charles de Gaulle route during the winter schedule period.
During the winter schedule period, the airline will operate flights to 10 cities in Asia. All flights are from Paris/Charles de Gaulle, with up to 15 round trips to Tokyo/Haneda, 13 to Bangkok, 10 to Singapore, 7 to Beijing/Capital, Shanghai/Pudong, Hong Kong, and Seoul/Incheon, and 3 to Osaka/Kansai and Ho Chi Minh City weekly. In addition, a new service of 3 weekly round trips between Manila and Paris/Charles de Gaulle will be launched on December 7.
Currently, the Tokyo/Narita to Paris/Charles de Gaulle route is operated with 3 weekly round trips. Although this route has been connecting Paris and Noumea, the capital of France’s New Caledonia, via a connecting flight with Air Calin’s Tokyo/Narita to Noumea route, due to the worsening situation in New Caledonia, Russian airspace flight restrictions, and a decrease in Japanese travelers, the service has been suspended since August 26, ending its role as a connecting flight.
